The Fisherman’s Retreat is a relatively new venue for Weddings having only opened a couple of years ago. It’s a beautiful location in a bowl of hills, so spectacular views from most angles outside. Inside the Fisherman’s Retreat, there is a wonderful warm feeling, and you would be forgiven for thinking you were in Scotland. Staff, architecture, lighting and views are all wonderful to work with to make a wonderful set of Wedding Photographs.
The Wedding ceremony was held in the main dining hall, with fantastic views across the hills, and lending to perfect side lighting, soft and beautiful for Wedding Photography. The guests then moved down to the bar on the lower level and spilled out onto the patio for drinks, canapes and photos.
They then returned to the dining room, that was bedecked with pumpkins and candles, a perfect setting for their Autumn Wedding Breakfast.
The Fisherman’s Retreat has just made it into my top 5 locations for Wedding Photography, and the food definitely top 2!
