I’ve recently had the pleasure of meeting little Piper when her mum brought her to my photostudio.
Let me introduce her to you: She was a two year old bubbly little lady, with a bounce of blonde hair and a wonderful smile to go with it.
Now usually I think twice about having a terrible two year old in the studio as the little maturing toddlers are well known to be brewing an awareness and understanding that what ‘they’ want ‘me’ to do, isn’t great fun but is much more amusing to do the opposite. Luckily with Piper we hit on a good note and got her very engrossed in dressing up in frilly dresses and playing with the very interesting toys I have in the studio.
She loved it, and experience and quick thinking allowed me to get a great range of images within the 20mins we managed to keep her attention for.
Then the strop happened – and everything ground to a halt. It made for one final image that is one of my favourites in the set – ‘Miss Diva’.
Here’s a few of the images from the session. The tutu dress was kindly loaned by Dawn Houston of The Small Business Emporium, Denton. The other clothes also available from the Truly Piper range also at The Emporium. A big thankyou also to Piper’s Mum Lis for her assistance in the studio.
