The well-established Woodend Artists Group are excited to present FRINGE an alternative and contemporary exhibition and event at Christy’s Coffee House, Uppermill, as part of the Saddleworth Arts Festival. This is a new exhibition venue for the Group, which they are very excited about. Christy’s Coffee House in Saddleworth is a comfortable and welcoming venue and artists hangout, This year it offers the unique opportunity to meet the artists on the Saturday evening, 6-10pm, for a great start to the Festival.
Enjoy a coffee or even a glass of wine whilst perusing the work of over 10 professional artists from the Woodend Artists at Christy’s Coffee House, Uppermill. Listen to local musicians including Strum and Bass, mellow duo from Springhead, enjoy unique performance Poetry as you relax into the atmosphere. Feast on Tapas on Friday and Saturday evening and enjoy delicious cakes and puddings all week.
Artists exhibiting include Visual Artists Sue Platt, Jacqui Symons, Cara Campbell, Pat Baker, Peter Castle, Martin Fitzpatrick, Chris Towers, Alexander Towers, Richard Dawson, Photographer Jude Gidney, and Maker and Sculpturer Mike Green.
Pop in to catch busking music by duo Strum and Bass on Saturday 4th June at the Open evening. The creative pair will also be playing during the week.
