Your newborn baby is a precious bundle of joy. The first two weeks of your baby’s life is the best time to capture those natural curled up shots. It may feel like a hectic time for you, but if you don’t capture those first few days, you’ll never capture them on film in the same way again.

The newborn baby and toddler photo experience session

As a registered baby and newborn photographer and a mother myself, you can be assured that your baby’s comfort and safety take priority. The studio is kept warm, I have a clean supply of sheets and I will never place your baby in a position that is unnatural or places them at risk. Your baby’s safety is of paramount importance during the shoot and always in the back of Baby and newborn photographer Oldhammy mind.

I supply all the beautiful blankets, furs, headbands and outfits you can see in my photos, however if there is something you wish your baby to wear, please bring it along and we can discuss what you’d like on the day. You will have options on colours of the images, choosing from a range of wraps, backdrops and props.

After two weeks your baby really starts to change and they’ll look different almost daily. I aim to capture those precious expressions and features for you to look back on and treasure forever.

Whether you’re looking for a more natural shot or a bath-time/cake-smash session, I guarantee the same level of professional service and care throughout. If you change your mind on the day or if your child isn’t happy we can change things around.
