I’ve just finished a second project photographing dogs in florescent and glowing collars for a local business. Photographing a pet is fun enough without having to bring in a product, and show it off to it’s full potential. I was aiming to get the dogs looking alert and interested, great if I can make eye contact but once they brought their heads to the front the collar often got ‘lost’ under the head. Also at this time of year I’ve been lucky to get the lighting and conditions right – although one shoot was in the rain…added atmosphere to the final images. Hopefully my photoshop skills will add that wow factor to the website images.
Who said ‘Never work with Children or Animals’? It’s all in the fun of the shoot, although a few headaches did result from these shoots.
